![]() HOBBIT DOOR
The customer
wanted a hobbit door on a ground level basement doorway.
I had to remove some of the ivy to paint. It had looked so charming that I painted it back on. This picture was in a local newspaper. |
![]() HOBBIT DOOR DETAILS
I signed this one below the ivy in Elvish Runes. I also found an
old swing seat in the client's barn that made a perfect sign.

![]() CELESTIA
I did this in
the kitchen area of a travel camper.
|
![]() ARBOR DOOR
This was my
first door - lots of fun.
|
![]() WINDOW VINE
This is on
same side of house with ARBOR DOOR.
I took photo at this stage before adding roses... |

WINDOW VINE & ROSES
This house got a lot of comments from the
neighbors.
All the ones I heard were good. |
![]() FARM SCENE
This one was a lot of fun.
The little boy was taken from an old Stearns family album. I'm not sure, but I think it's Bob Montgomery. Anybody know where he is? I'm trying to locate him. He would be 64 now. |
![]() GRAPEVINE DOOR
A friend asked me to paint this door.
As we were discussing ideas, the cross "jumped" out at me from the design of the door. |
![]() CASTLE WALL
Rachel asked for a tower with a princess holding a rose, a sun and
clouds. I added the rainbow. I made the princess look like
her and put the
frog in as the last touch of the job. I said, "Every princess
needs a frog!"
